Fiato's History Fiato's Orchard is located in one of the most picturesque areas in the southern tier of New York. The original orchard was planted in 1945 by Charlie Reynolds, who operated a roadside stand on Pennsylvania Ave for many years. The original 20 acres was the first contour orchard in Broome County. And today, some of Charlie's trees including antique varieties still grow, producing sweet, delicious apples every season. In 1984, the Orchard was purchased by Tony and Claire Fiato, and over the years, Tony rebuilt the Orchard into the perfectly manicured specimen it is today. The Orchard consists of over 2000 semi-dwarf trees in 40+ varieties. In 2006, Tony and Claire sold the orchard to Kathy and Scott Turney. Our Orchard is easily accessible to "all" age groups. If you are physically unable to walk, we will take you to your favorite picking spot, whether it's for picking apples or pumpkins, or just picture taking. Fiato's Orchard & Market
